Hashiloach Quarterly

Illuminating conservative thought and discussion – from policy to philosophy, and everything in between

What We Do

Founded to enrich Israeli public discourse, the Hashiloach quarterly journal is Israel’s only platform for excellent long-form conservative writing on the major policy and cultural questions facing the Jewish State. Intellectual and engaging, Hashiloach fosters a unique community of readers and writers through its publication, events, and writing workshops. We publish original analyses of public affairs through a conservative lens, amplify other conservative voices, and translate classic texts from English to Hebrew. Our work is regularly referenced in Israeli academic, cultural, governmental, and legal discourse.

Every issue includes varied work by researchers, scholars, prominent practitioners, and first-time writers in fields including law, economics, Zionism, national security, culture, and ethics. We consider it particularly important to publish and support emerging writers whose work uniquely contributes to Israeli public discourse.
